Pearse Professionals have partnered with a Multinational Renewable Energy Organisation to assist with hiring a CFO. This is a newly created role supporting the plans of expansion and scaling the business during the next phase of their growth journey. Looking for a visionary leader to integrate diverse teams across the renewable energy collective, promoting a cohesive ethos and optimising our resources. The chosen CFO will collaborate closely with our CEO and executive team, advising on financial strategies that align with our green objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of financial and managerial acumen. Responsibilities: Foster transformative performance improvements – deliver critical business insights in the commercial, operations, and supply chain domains to enhance efficiency and profitability. Implement a robust capital investment framework to optimize decision-making and meet strategic objectives. Own the budgeting and reporting process, understand variances, to enhance decision-making and drive the company to achieve its targets Oversee working capital and cash management to sustain liquidity and financial health. Ensure adherence to intricate financing arrangements, covenant obligations, and reporting mandates. Facilitate M&A endeavours, encompassing due diligence, financial and legal assessments, and seamless integration or separation processes. Profile: Qualified chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) is preferred. Prior experience in the Renewables or Energy Generation sector. Experience with private equity (PE) within mid-market portfolio businesses, and familiarity with the unique demands of the PE environment. Possesses an informal and dynamic style, with a readiness to take a hands-on approach when necessary. Demonstrates strong leadership and management abilities. Exhibits excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, with a confident and authoritative demeanor, including board-level experience
